finally, we’ve got the page started so let me welcome you to Chałupy.. just kidding.. welcome to the website of Cottage’s Cinema Club.. why it has come into existence you can read if you click here or ‘cottage’ below the picture of the sexy cameraman you can see above;)

before each movie I’m going to prepare vocabulary sheets available to download from the website.. please do print them out and study as I believe they’ll help you understand the films better as well as extend your vocabulary..

it’d be great if you sent your comment about the films, club or quality of tea served.. sending photos immortalising our meetings would also be a great token of appreciation of what’s being done here..

so far we’ve met on three occasions to watch consequently Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘Vertigo’, Oliver Stone’s ‘U-Turn’ and Taylor Hackford’s adaptation of Stephen King’s ‘Dolores Claiborne’.. hope you enjoyed yourselves..

the next things on the agenda are Tim Burton’s ‘Big Fish’ (dunno when) and Nirvana’s ‘MTV Unplugged in New York’ concert to commemorate its 16th anniversary on either 17th or 19th November..
